Mike's birthday weekend turned out great. He made out like a bandit and we had a fabulous Friday night at Toby Keith's, excellent Saturday night (his actual birthday) dinner at Flemings, and a low key Sunday.
This last week, Mike and I drove his moms car up to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. By far the most gorgeous place on the planet. His uncle owns a house there on the Spokane River (actually in Coeur D'Alene and connects to Lake Coeur D'Alene) and his mom is renting a house up there for the entire month of August. So we decided to road trip it, and spend a few days there. It was absolutely amazing. Its like an upscaled Flagstaff, and everything is centered around the lake. The food, the shopping, and the views!! Ohh the views! I am super excited because we get to go back up at the end of the month and stay for a whole week. My mother in law hadn't even been in town for 12 hours and was already looking at some potential real estate. Love it!
I posted an album on facebook of the entire trip, I'll post just a few on here. These pictures do not even do the place justice. Mike and I are already talking about moving up there. They have great school systems, everyone is so nice, and Gonzaga is 20 minutes away in Spokane- graduate school potential? Oh yes!
