First and probably the most exciting, Mike and I found out we are expecting! Totally not part of our "plan" but things change! We threw it all to the wind when a good, older friend of mine died. I went through about a week of "life is too short" and "what are we waiting for" About a month after deciding we weren't going to prevent or try, I found out I was pregnant! Those Shaw boys!
Second, I am FINALLY graduating this winter! I have worked so hard the last 2 years to make this happen and I could not be more excited. With a baby on the way, grad school will have to wait till next year. But I have a plan for that too! I am even graduating with honors. Who would of thought?!
Thats pretty much the biggest news I have right now. Mike and I are enjoying life. It feels good to be home on the weekends. I can remember maybe 3 weekends all summer that we were actually home. Between Cali, camping, Coeur D'Alene, and Flagstaff, we were gone all the time. I am so excited that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. We have some wonderful family things planned, and then X-mas! I am so excited for our first Christmas as a married couple. I do not think I am up to the task of hosting (thats what happens when you cannot cook!) but its just nice to finally be in a grown-up place.
Its sleepy time for me now, I sleep more than 12 hours everyday and I am enjoying every minute of it! Thanks baby Shaw!
